The Amlib Catalogue & Authority modules utilise MARC21 standards with an easy to use interface. It features online Z39.50 searching of other libraries and databases simultaneously (e.g. search Libraries Australia, Library of Congress, SCIS, Suppliers and Universities in a single search) then click record in search results to immediately import into Amlib database. Catalogue Based Components |
The Amlib Stock Item module manages all items/holding records within the database featuring user defined Item Formats (form) and Classification (stats) which are also used to determine the item display and circulation statistics retained. Features include: Item activity and reports history Global item changes Loan override codes (e.g. High Demand) Easy to use Item Stocktake Bulk loans / class sets / master-linked items Selector to prevent copies from display in OPAC (e.g. Missing) |
Amlib provides the facility for staff to quickly create ILL requests, reserve for library patrons and manage the circulation of the ILL item received from an external library including automatic alerts for staff in the Circulation module. Amlibs NCIP module is optionally available to extend the functionality of Amlib Inter Library Loans by enabling interaction with other library and ILL systems. |
