EnvisionWare's BarcodePlus System extends the capabilities of your existing patron barcodes to a powerful self-service copier payment and control solution. Borrowers or students can scan their library card, barcode-based student ID, magnetic stripe card, or BlackBoard Transaction System ID which retrieves the on-line deposit balance and enables the copier. The user makes copies consuming up to the maximum available funds and then either presses a key to end the copy session or it alerts the user and times out automatically. Charges are updated in real time. The cashless solution offers a high reliability account-based copy management solution for libraries and campuses. Interfaces are available for most copiers including EnvisionWare's Ricoh/Savin models. |
